What does a Crew Member do?
As the public face of Loot the Crew Member is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the Loot offers.
A Crew Member is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the stores products, services, and policies.
Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer, while adhering to company policies, requires a combination of empathy and tact.
Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the store, products, signage, and displays.
Crew Member Responsibilities:
Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
Receiving, Pricing, and Shelving Inventory as needed.
Preperation of food and beverage items from our cafe
Directing customers to merchandise and menus within the store.
Increasing in store sales.
Establishing product knowledge
Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store.
Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
Cross-selling and upselling products to increase purchase amounts.
Hosting customer events and engagements as scheduled.
Crew Member Requirements:
An Associate’s degree or high school diploma.
Availability to work flexible shifts.
Clear and clean tables as needed; restock food and supplies.
Perform duties related to opening or closing the Café.
Ability to prep food accurately and in a timely manner.
A professional appearance.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to lift and move boxes of product up to 30lbs.
The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bilingual is a plus
Retail sales experience is a plus.
Hospitality Experience is a plus.
Food Handling Experience is a plus.
Waiter, Waitress, Host, or Hostess Experience is a plus
Craft Beer or Gastro Pub Experience is a plus
